I had the lap version of gastric bypass, so there really is no scar. However, I do have a large, thin scar across my tummy from my tummy tuck — but we carefully hid that with fabric and clothes.

[The photo spread] has a very romantic feel with corsets and fabrics (I'm not totally nude). It's very elegant and tasteful. It reminds me of a 1940s postcard in the old saloon days.

They make every woman look beautiful in that magazine, whether she's 21 or 35, a size 2 or a size 8. And every single photo of every woman has been retouched. Nobody's that perfect. 

I included two chapters on Playboy in my new book — a personal journal, hour by hour, of my photo shoot and my fabulous experience. I thought people would want to know about the decision-making process I went through — why I decided to do it and what it was like to be there.
